Love this juicer! I've owned other juicers and stopped using them because we have such an "on the go" existence that I simply did not have time to deal with cleaning them (could say too lazy to clean them but after using this one, it's such a breeze that laziness doesn't enter the equation). For health reasons, my hubby wanted to buy the Health Master he saw on TV, but thanks to reviews on Amazon, I decided against buying that machine and bought the Breville BJE200XL instead...I am so glad I did! It is very well designed and comes with a combo brush/spatula which is perfect to clean out the pulp and the screen...everything else just rinses clean. It's definitely well designed - for example, the reviews for the the Health Master talked about rusting problems, on the Breville, it has nice quality rubber ring which doesn't appear as if it could rust as the described on the Health Master reviews. Last but not least, value - definitely a good buy for under $100 compared to other models that cost more. The basic recipes in the instruction booklet are tasty, fast and easy to prepare..plus there are plenty of great juicing books cheap on Amazon to add more variety and health oriented information. From the first day, we noticed more energy and slept better that night (didn't expect it but it was a really, really nice benefit!). When we slack for a day, we feel it...now hubby's asking for juice all the time...even while typing this review, he's been bugging me for a juice for the evening...clearly my next task is to show him how the simple on/off button works and how to turn the faucet on to rinse it out afterward! ;-) I highly recommend this purchase.

After reading many online reviews, I decided on this juicer and am happy to report that I am very pleased with my choice. I find that there is a very minute amount of juice left over after you are done juicing, not enough to even make a sip. It is loud and rather large, do not be fooled that it is small, but it was worth the $$ I spent on it.

This juicer is incredibly powerful and easy to use. Cleanup is a breeze, and it manages to release a LOT of juice. Incredible craftsmanship, the little details will amaze you. The blades and pulp net are incredibly sharp and well put together. The little spout on the main pulp bay makes cleanup very simple and the foam collector is great for keeping the foam out of your drink! I make a great little recipe: 3 carrots, 2 large celery sticks, 1 whole apple and 3-4 strawberries. Great tasting and VERY nutritious!!!

I just received my Breville juicer. Assembly was easy and I pushed a few carrots and peeled oranges through it. Those fruits and vegetables just seem to explode in there. My daughter calls it the detonator. The motor winds up and down like a jet engine turbine and, while it isn't quiet, my dishwasher makes more noise over a longer period of time. The juice was delicious, by the way. I am used to store bought juices and what really struck me was the greenness of the flavor. It wasn't unpleasant. I thought to myself, this is what juice should taste like. The texture was frothy - what I expected when the produce is blasted like that. Reminded me of an orange julius. I look forward to tomorrow. I have a seedless watermelon, some beautiful gala apples, and baby spinach to juice. Cleanup was not easy. The pulp glues itself pretty fast to the pulp container, so I suggest rinsing it out swiftly. There's a lot of pulp too. Somebody should write a cookbook for pulp from juicers. The manual that comes with the juicer has a few recipes that look promising. So, my initial impressions of this juicer are that it appears fairly well made, it is not an ugly appliance on the counter, it's not too loud, and it makes tasty juice. We'll see how it holds up to sustained use.

This thing is simply awesome. I am a first-time juicer and did a lot of research before buying this product. I wanted something relatively inexpensive, but I also didn't want to skimp on quality. After a couple weeks of use, I am SOLD!

From what I have seen with other juicers (specifically masticating ones), you spend a lot of time in assembly, juicing, and clean up. While they may maximize your juice, I can't say the overall effort is worth it. With the Breville there is very little cleaning and effort needed to put this thing together and start juicing, which was a huge plus for me. Not only that, but this thing is POWERFUL! If any of you remember the days of "Home Improvement," this would definitely be the Binford brand juicer because of all the POWER! It eats through pineapple rind, canteloupe rind, you name, it eats it, you drink it!

Now, as in all cases, you are giving up some things. This does not obtain every last bit if juice from the pulp, but it does a very good job in my opinion. Also, there will be small pieces of fruit, just a few, that come up the chute and out of the juicer. I take a paper towel and wipe them up in 2 seconds, nothing major. It isn't going to spit fruit all over your ceiling as long as your careful enough to cover the chute, haha.

This thing is so much fun that I find myself experimenting with different fruits and veggies just to watch the Breville DESTROY them! AND it's healthy AND tastes good!! You simply can't go wrong.

If you're an experienced juicer and willing to pay the big bucks, I would go for the more expensive Brevilles, but if you are looking for something inexpensive without sacrificing quality, the Breville BJE200XL is the way to go. Enjoy!

Side notes: It's not really that loud, definitely quieter than a mixer or blender. Also, not very big; it tucks neatly out of the way on my counter top and I just bring it out when I need it. Four stars because it's not perfect, but pretty darn close.

Loud and fast, but has a serious design flaw that I don't know why I haven't read about. The gap is too large between the spinning basket and the plunger tunnel so large chunks get thrown HARD against the side of the machine. Very scary sounding. It won't juice parsley very well or herb type things because they just fit under the tunnel and don't get juiced. I don't know, this seems like it would scare anyone who heard this first into not buying it. As far as the completeness of the juicing process, the pulp sems fairly dry but with big chunks, I can see liquid still inside the pulp that I could squeeze out if I had a press. Since I can't really compare it to anything,having only had two other juicers years ago that were cheap and small, I would keep searching. I bought this based on the reviews here, but I think they are seriously skewed or I have a defective unit. Waited to long to use it so can't send it back. On the positive side, it is very easy to clean and looks pretty good. And has a large opening to fit things into.

I am loving my new Brevel juicer. I have bought other brands before but nothing with the power of this juicer. When the designers designed this machine, they thought of everything. It's ease of use is spectacular. So easy to clean. I have been discouraged with other brands and styles in the past and have quit juicing due to the trouble in cleaning the machines. However, those days are over.

I would highly recommend this unit. I believe the price is reasonable considering the easy of use, motor power and nice design. Just love it!

This morning was the first time we had ever juiced and the outcome of the experience was much better than I anticipated. I am so pleased with the choice I made in buying this juicer. It being an entry level model and that its suppose to be easy to use and clean got my attention along with reviews from others. Well, it certainly has been all that they claimed. The motor isn't loud and the machine doesn't vibrate at all.
The brush that came with it made it easier to clean the filter while holding it under running water. But it still took a good 5 min to thoroughly clean. So I think next time I'll lay it in a small bowl of water immediately after the machine shuts down and just drink our juice first.
The pulp, from what little I know about this sort of thing, was fairly dry.
This juicer seems to be of good quality, so it gives me hope that it will last for a long time to come.

This juicer rocks!!
Been using it for two weeks, works better than advertised.
Solid piece of engineering, sturdy long lasting parts, excellent workmanship.
Best features are its simplicity and ease of cleaning.
Though named "Compact" the unit is pretty large.
The 700 HP motor is powerful and not too loud. Pulp container is of decent capacity. Do not expect to juice entire apples, unless you are using very small apples.
The pulp extract is pretty dry so you are getting almost all the juice out of the fruit/vegetables with this unit.

Nothing better than fresh juice and this juicer makes the whole experience a breeze.

Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for easy maintenance good long lasting juicer .
