I have had this juicer less than a week but, I LOVE IT. This is my 2nd juicer, my first one was a Jack Lalanne (yes,I watch too many informercials).This one is much better. The stainless steel design is very beautiful but more importantly it is very functional with my other juicer I needed a platform and I was always searching for a cup to put that would fit right under the juicer. This comes with its own pitcher. But the great thing is, its not just a pitcher. The nozzle fits snugly into the covered pitcher so when your juice come shooting out. it goes in the pitcher and not on you. It is much easier to clean also. The filter is still a pain. But there are less pieces to clean the my other juicer. and less mess to clean since this goes into the pitcher its much easier instead of having to clean everything around me. The variable speeds work great on it too. I juiced some beets without any problems. I cannot recommend this juicer enough to anyone looking at juicers. Also,I would recommend getting The Big Book of Juices: More Than 400 Natural Blends for Health and Vitality Every Day its got some great recipes.
