Understand that oranges aren't grapes. You don't dump a load of oranges into the juicer, press a button and watch the juice come out. You have to wash the fruit, cut them in half across the sections, place them carefully in position on the juicer, and then press. What the Breville does is automatically start rotating as you push the lever down, allowing you to press the juice out with very little effort. It drains the juice into a container. The spout can be shut off so you can empty the container without juice dripping on the countertop. It's all stainless and it cleans up just by rinsing in fresh water. It's not magic, it's just the most well thought out citrus juicer I've ever used. Get a sharp knife so cutting the oranges in half is a pleasure, and making orange juice is fun. I've had the juicer a month or so now, and squeezed three bushels or so. A half bushel is about twenty pounds of oranges and makes a gallon plus of juice, or 9 or 10 pounds. This juicer is solid and looks like it will hold up a long time. Very handsome on the countertop, too.
